Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to come with a partner?

Absolutely not! Our system of constantly changing partners as you learn the steps helps both leaders and followers learn to dance with a variety of partners.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes. We do not recommend high heels or open, strappy shoes, such as sandals; basically, think of what shoe you wouldn't mind running in. You can make any sneaker a dance shoe by covering the sole with duct tape. You do not need to purchase special dance shoes; however, if you would like to do so, current favorites are the Bleyer dance shoes carried by www.dancestore.com and white Bass bucks. Some people like a plain sole, and others take their shoes to a shoe repair shop and have leather or suede (shoe chrome) applied to the bottoms. Locally, Lebo's carries dance shoes if you'd like to try shoes on before you purchase them.

What about a refund if...?

You can request a 50% refund up through the second night of class. For more information, see our Refund Policy.
